  • The adoption application is the first step in the adoption process; it is not a guarantee or commitment of adoption. Once your application is reviewed, you will be contacted with next steps. Please provide up to two weeks for a response as we work through all required references.

  • Are your current pets up to date on vaccines?
  • Are your current pets spayed/neutered?
  • Are your current pets on heartworm & flea/tick preventatives?
  • Do you acknowledge that animal's need annual veterinary visits so that they can stay up to date on core vaccinations, annual testing, and more as needed?*
  • Do you acknowledge that animal's need monthly prevention to prevent fleas, ticks, heartworms, and parasites and that if approved to adopt, your new pet will continue to receive monthly prevention?*

  • Do you understand that an animal can be an 18-year commitment, and can cost upwards of $1,000 per year to care for?*

  • By submitting, I grant permission to my vet to provide Kal's Pals any and all requested information.

    I acknowledge that all of the information provided is true and correct to the best of my knowledge. 

    I understand that completing this application is not a guarantee of adoption. 

    I understand that it can take up to two weeks before being presented with an interview.

    I acknowledge that if chosen to adopt and my current situation listed above were to change and I could no longer care for the animal, I am required to contact Kal's Pals and cannot transfer ownership without written approval from Kal's Pals. 

    I understand that Kal's Pals reserves the right to decline an adoption application for any reason.
