  • Volunteer Food Shopping Policy

This policy is in place to ensure that the needs of both our clients and our volunteers are able to be thoughtfully met.
    • Volunteers may shop once per week, only after completing all assigned tasks.

    • Volunteers must follow the same item limits as clients

    • Food must be taken home the same day—we cannot hold items.

    • Proxy shopping (shopping for another household) follows the same limits and rules.

    • Volunteers must check in with the Director before leaving with groceries to confirm weekly shopping.
