Guidelines for Nominating

Please read carefully before submitting your nomination.
June is the month we celebrate Fathers!

Business Empowered International-Mississippi Chamber of Commerce in partnership with The Best of Mississippi Awards celebrates and honors leaders, businesses, and nonprofit organizations from across Mississippi! You can nominate a businessman or community leader from any of the categories listed below.

GUIDELINES TO FOLLOW:
1. PLEASE DO NOT USE AUTOFILL WHEN COMPLETING YOUR NOMINATION FORM. IT CONFUSES THE TEAM AS TO WHAT CATEGORY YOU ARE RECOGNIZING THE NOMINEE IN. AUTOFILL FILLS EVERY NAME AND CATEGORY WHEN YOU'RE NOMINATING ONE PERSON.
2. The nomination process ends on March 5, 2024. Voting begins on February 5, 2024.
3. Who is eligible to nominate? Anyone can nominate across the U.S. as long as the nominee resides in Mississippi.
4. There is no need to submit multiple nominations for the nominee. Once the nominee accepts his nomination, the Board of Governors will review his Nominations Acceptance Form and make the final selection. The nominee will then be notified if he was selected in the Top 50 Men In Business.
5. All nominees are subject to approval.
  1. The Nominee must have a valid email. Once he has been nominated, he will be notified via email. Please check spam and junk mail for notifications. Failure to reply with the information requested to move on to the Acceptance stage will result in an invalid nomination.
  2. If you nominate someone, be courteous and notify them so they can check their email including their spam folder. Watch for video updates and your nominee's official announcement flyer on The Best of Mississippi Awards page at www.facebook.com/thebestofms.
  3. All nominees must be 21 years or older to participate.
