There is a minimum level of physical fitness required for acceptance into The Etceteras training. Each man must be able to complete the following:
- 2 Mile Run: under 20 min. (can be done on a treadmill)
- Pushups: 40 without breaking form in under 2 min. (FORM: body kept straight, chest or nose within 1 inch of the ground each rep.)
- Pullups: 6 without leaving the bar in under 1 min. (FORM: no kipping, palm out grip, hands wider than shoulder width, chin to bar height each rep.)
- Sit-ups: 40 in under 2 min. (FORM: full range each rep. back touching ground at bottom, torso upright at top)
You will have 30 days from the submission of your application to submit video documentation of your completion of each of these exercises.
