  • Internships/Placements:

    PMI Toronto Chapter is not an employer. We do not offer paid or unpaid internships or placements. We cannot help you find internships or placements. 

  • Member benefits:

    Please see the FAQ for member benefits.

    Goodlife and Perkopolis are updated the first week of the month. If you joined the chapter recently, you may need to wait until the next cycle. We cannot expedite the process, you will not receive a response.

    If your Chapter membership did not renew, you will lose access until the next cycle after your renewal. PMI Toronto will not respond to inquiries about this issue.

    We recommend you turn on auto-renew to avoid accidentally losing your member benefits discounts.

  • Membership:

    PMI Global membership is a requirement to purchase or renew your PMI Toronto Chapter membership. Membership purchases and renewals are completed through pmi.org and not through the chapter website.

  • PDUs and PDU submissions:

    PDUs can be claimed through your PMI.org profile. If you attend an event with us, we usually will provide a code during the event to make this process easier for you. If you missed the code, you can self-report using the event details from our website.

    Do not request PDU codes from the chapter, as a policy we do not provide codes after the events as it increases operating admin costs. We aim to keep membership fees reasonable for all our members.

  • Mentors and Mentees:

    Platform access:

    Please review the mentorship FAQ, if it has been less than 45 days since your membership sign-up or renewal

     

    Unresponsive Mentor or Mentee:

    If your mentor or mentee is unresponsive:

    1. Follow up with them through the 10kc platform or email.
    2. Consider reaching out via LinkedIn if their profile is available.
    3. Be patient and allow time for a response, as they may not check their email frequently, or the message might have landed in their spam folder.

    If you are unable to contact them for 30 days or more, you can request to release the match by contacting support@tenthousandcoffees.com.

    Please note that there are always more mentees than mentors, so a rematch is not guaranteed. If released, your profile will return to the matching pool, and the algorithm will attempt to find a new match during subsequent cycles.

    Our events are posted on our calendar and announced via the newsletter. We do not have information to share about events that are not posted.

  • Events - Cancellations, refunds, and transfers

    PMI Toronto Chapter's policy for cancellations and transfers is outlined here. The page of the event would outline any additional considerations or deviations from the policy if applicable.

    Please review the policy in detail as there are specific timelines required and considerations for refund amounts according to the event type.

  • Speaking opportunity:

    Would you like to propose speaking at a chapter event? Our speakers are usually industry professionals who wish to volunteer and knowledge share with our membership.

  • Volunteering:

    Please update your volunteer interests to be notified when positions become available. While we review all applications, only those considered will be contacted as we receive a large volume of applications.

    Keep your Volunteer profile updated as your availability or interest change, this will ensure you are notified when matching opportunities are published.

    • Create an account and update your volunteer profile with your volunteering interests and availability
    • Apply through the portal. You may find Chapter or PMI Global opportunities that fit your interests.
