Canine Service Type I
This is our basic service option for Veterinarians. It is also the common choice for Breeders who are looking for an accurate PVC screening of their dogs. When we receive your cassettes or digital scans, our certified Technicians will carefully scan them and generate a Hospital quality report, complete with a clear PVC summary added to the cover page. This is a manual scan, not a computer generated scan. The complete report will be sent to you via E-mail. Our fee for this service is $40.00 per scan for 24-hour studies. The fee for long term studies of 2-7 days is $60 and the fees for studies of 8-14 days is $100.
Canine Service Type II
This is a more in-depth service for customers who want a Cardiologist overview of their study. The cassette or digital scan is processed as in the "Service Type I". The final report is then sent to our Cardiologist instead of directly to you. The Cardiologist will then send a report to you. This is an option typically used for customers who want more of a health screening other than for breeding. The fee for this service is $90. If you have already paid $40 for Service Type I, you can add the Cardiologist service for an additonal $50.
Canine Service Type III
This is the service option for customers seeking to submit their Holter report to OFA. OFA requires that the forms be filled out by a Veterinary Cardiologist. The Holter study is scanned by the technician (as in Service Type I), and then the report is sent to the Cardiologist. The Cardiologist will interpret the report (as in Service Type II). A Service Type III Request Form should be completed and sent to ALBA Medical via FAX to 866-252-2633 or scanned and emailed to reports@albamedical.com. The Cardiologist will then fill out the necessary forms and submit them to OFA. The total fee for this service is $130.
