For approved applications to reserve rats (THIS IS NOT THE APPLICATION TO ADOPT)
This Rat Adoption Agreement is entered into and between Moomoo Rattery (Anna Medow) hereinafter referred to as the "Breeder," and First and Last Name*, hereinafter referred to as the "Adopter."

Breeding Restrictions

1.1) The Adopter agrees that the adopted rat(s) shall NOT be used for breeding purposes. The Adopter shall ensure that the rats are spayed/neutered to prevent unintentional breeding if ever housed in the same room as the opposite gender.
Responsible Ownership

1.2) The Adopter agrees to provide proper care, nutrition, and veterinary attention to the adopted rat(s). This includes ensuring a safe and clean environment (NO: paper bedding, glass tanks, interaction with other species), and necessary exotic veterinary visits.
Transfer of Ownership

1.3) The Adopter agrees NOT to transfer ownership of the rat(s) to any other party without prior consent from the Breeder. Moomoo Rattery will always welcome rats back into their care, no questions asked.
Breach of Agreement

1.4) In the event of a breach of this Agreement, the Breeder reserves the right to reclaim the rats, and any offspring produced without the consent of the Breeder, without any refund or compensation to the Adopter. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Rhode Island.
Return Policy

1.5) If, for any reason, the Adopter is unable or unwilling to continue caring for their rats, they agree to return the rats to the Breeder without seeking compensation. Little to no questions will be asked.

To Reserve Your Rats:

The deposit goes toward Final Adoption Fee at time of pickup. Deposit is NOT refundable for cancellations or no-shows. Is it $30, and rats will not be held if payment is not received within 24 hours of initial notification for reservation. Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay are accepted.

Health Risks Acknowledgment:
(Rats from Moomoo Rattery are health tested and given regular health checks. Your rat(s) are guaranteed healthy at the time of sale)
The undersigned acknowledges that rats, similar to all domestic pets, have the potential to transmit diseases that could impact human health, including but not limited to ECUN and RBF. I have conducted research on the health risks associated with rats and understand that signing this acknowledgment releases the breeder from any liability involving these animals.
-The Breeder will never knowingly sell a sick/injured animal. Once an animal leaves Moomoo Rattery, I understand that the Breeder is not liable for vet bills that occur due to any accident, illness, or condition.
-I will fully look over my rat(s) before purchasing for any type of injury or illness.
