This is only for pets who have already passed away at home and are needing transport to the crematory of your choice above. This is NOT for euthanasia services. What if your pet has passed away already? As soon as you become aware of your pet’s passing, we recommend calling Maui Sunset Veterinary Care to handle transportation to the crematory for a fee. You can also contact your regular veterinarian or transport your pet yourself to the crematory of your choice.

Private cremation (You will get your pets ashes returned). Estimated time for return of ashes varies on your choice. Maui Humane Society will call you when your pets ashes are ready for pick up. Maui Sunset Vet Care LLC will fill out the needed paperwork and transport your pet to Maui Humane Society for you. Benefit: local non profit organization.

Private Cremation with Paws Forever Maui Crematory (~7 days estimated time for return of ashes)

Private cremations take place in a partitioned crematory. Your pet companion will be placed in their own compartment, assuring you will only receive the ashes of your pet. They strive to return your pet's ashes within seven days. Maui Sunset Veterinary Care LLC will fill out the paperwork needed and will transport your pet to this crematory. Paws Forever Crematory (also called Makawao Veterinary Clinic) will call you when your pets ashes are ready for pick up.
