Exhibitor Rules and Regulations
Please review the following rules for vending with us! Any violation of these rules may result in your removal from this and future events.
1. All vendor/exhibitor spaces/tables must be staffed by the Exhibitor at all times. Orlando Oddities and Curiosities Market/ Prometheus Esoterica shall not be held responsible for loss or damage to vendor/exhibitor property. All persons assisting with your setup must arrive prior to show time and stay for the duration of the event.
2. All vendor/exhibitor spaces/tables must remain intact throughout the operating hours of the show and may not be dismantled prior to the closing of the show unless there’s an emergency.
3. Exact booth and table assignments will be set by Orlando Oddities and Curiosities Market. You may request a preferred location but it cannot be guaranteed. All vendors must supply their own tables and chairs.
4. Spaces/tables may not intrude in the aisles, in front of, or to the side of the tables. Walkway space needs to be maintained in accordance with applicable Fire and Safety Codes. Any space that is open when you come to set up, must be left an open space, do not attempt to fill in any open space, aisles, etc. Please do not intrude into neighboring spaces on either side or behind you.
5. Vendors/exhibitors may not use anything that will damage the Event Facility walls to mount or hang displays. The vendors/exhibitors will be held responsible for any damage they cause to the wall or their area. Some spaces will not be along walls and any equipment needed to hang or display fixtures or banners must be supplied by the vendor.
6. Vendors/exhibitors are responsible for charging Florida State sales tax and reporting sales to the State of Florida. Orlando Oddities and Curiosities Market will not be held responsible for vendors’ failure to collect, report, and submit sales tax charges. Sales tax applications are available on the state’s website www.myflorida.com.
7. Vendors/exhibitors are responsible for their own waste removal. You must dispose of all garbage, boxes, etc. at your space/table at the end of operating hours. If any waste is left at your space/table after close of operating hours, you will be assessed a clean-up fee, not less than $25.00 per Exhibit space.
8. No candles or incense are allowed to be burned during the show. This is due to the fire marshall, but also to not bother those around you that may be sensitive to scents. Be mindful of your neighbors before demoing sprayed perfumes. Please do not play any music during the event.
9. We approved you based on your application and the items shown on your website/social media. If you are introducing a completely new item not shown on your website/social media during the application process, you must get approval first. You only need approval if you are introducing something completely different.
10. Vendors/exhibitors may not sell, offer, serve, or provide free food or beverage in the exhibit space as per Event Facility policy, without prior written approval by Organizer and Event Center. This includes but is not limited to alcoholic beverages, boxed ready to eat items, water, promotional goods, candy, edible crafts, and “Collectable” food items.
11. All specimens offered for sale at the Orlando Oddities and Curiosities Market must comply with state and federal guidelines, especially regarding wildlife laws, and must be sustainably and ethically sourced. We are dedicated to animal conservation and do not allow the sale of taxidermy bats at our events. No domestic cat or dog specimens bearing fur may be sold at our event. We do not allow the sale or display of human remains.
12. We reserve the right to request any item be removed from display due to content, questionable legality, or lack of relevance to our event, no questions asked.
13. All table fees are non-refundable. If an emergency arises, please alert Orlando Oddities and Curiosities Market and we will make a decision based on a case-by-case basis.
14. Any photos submitted for application approval may be used n advertising of the event and may be featured on our website or social media.
15. We want all of our vendors, guests, and venue personnel to have a good and fun experience at our event. Please be nice to our staff, your fellow vendors, and guests.
