Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor with Community Farmers Markets. Every vendor within our market community is carefully screened as we aim to select a diverse group of vendors for each market to provide our customers with access to high quality and locally produced food.

However, we do occasionally add new vendors into our markets mid-season when space becomes available. To be considered for any vacancies, please fill out this Inquiry Form.

If selected for further review, we will contact you to complete a full application in which you must submit ALL relevant licenses, documentation and processing fees, before being considered for that market. We will not be sending individualized responses to this form! 

Requirements and Restrictions 

Please read through our Vendor Rubric to make sure your product is a fit for the markets.

Products that may be sold at CFM markets include the following:

• Vegetables grown by the seller from seeds, seedlings, or sets.
• Fruits, berries, or nuts grown on trees, bushes, or vines on the seller’s farm.
• Plants grown by the seller from seed, seedling, or transplant.
• Eggs produced by the seller’s poultry.
• Honey produced by the seller’s bees.
• Fresh baked goods and prepared food items must be made from scratch by the seller using locally sourced, sustainable ingredients.
• Fresh cut flowers grown on the seller’s farm.
• Meat products must be produced from animals raised on the seller’s farm.
• Dairy products, including milk, cheese, and yogurt must be produced from animals raised on the seller’s farm.
• Fish products must to be humanely caught or raised.
• Pet food and treats made from scratch by the seller using locally sourced, sustainable ingredients.
• Foraging is an acceptable practice. Foraged products must be approved by the CFM Director of Operations prior to sale.
• Prepared and packaged foods using ingredients sourced from local, Georgia farms. 
• Bath and Body products that incorporate local and sustainable products.
  Handmade Arts and Crafts products using sustainably sourced materials.

 

Required Documents

All vendors are required to have the following documentation: 

• Business License
• Department of Agriculture and/ or Department of Health certifications, as required by your business
• Liability Insurance (all food related businesses)
