Tuition Payment and Financial Obligation Policy
At Sofia Christian University Inc., we are committed to providing a Christ-centered education of the highest quality. In order to maintain the integrity of our academic programs and ensure fairness to all students, we require each student to uphold their financial obligations as outlined in this policy.
1. Tuition Due Date
Tuition and fees are due on the first day of each month.
Payments not received by the due date will be considered late.
2. Late Payment Fee
A late fee of $150 will be applied to any account not paid in full by the first day of the month.
This fee is non-refundable and must be paid in addition to the outstanding tuition balance.
3. Access to Classes and Academic Materials
Students whose tuition has not been paid by the due date will not be permitted to attend classes, access course materials, or submit assignments until the account is brought current.
Faculty are instructed not to accept assignments from students who have not fulfilled their tuition obligations.
4. Registration and Continuing Studies
The University reserves the right to block registration for future courses, modules, or programs until all outstanding tuition and fees are paid in full.
5. Transcripts, Diplomas, and Certifications
The University will withhold transcripts, diplomas, and any official academic documents until all financial obligations, including tuition, fees, and late penalties, are satisfied.
6. Collections and Legal Action
Failure to meet financial obligations may result in the University pursuing legal action or third-party collections to recover unpaid tuition and fees.
The student shall be responsible for any additional costs incurred in the collection process, including attorney’s fees and court costs.
7. Student Responsibility
By enrolling at Sofia Christian University Inc., each student agrees to this policy and accepts full responsibility for meeting all tuition and fee obligations.
Students are encouraged to plan accordingly and ensure timely payment to avoid disruption of their academic progress.
