Early American Summer Days combines 19th century history with 21st century fun! Designed for ages 7-12, all sessions give children who have completed grades 1-5 a glimpse into the museum's historical spaces and an opportunity to do themed craft projects.
Early American Summer Days is a four day program that runs from July 30 - August 2, 9:30-3:30.
The themed days are
- STEM & Archeology (7/30)
- Toys & Games (7/31)
- Homestead on the Farm (8/1)
- Nature & Art (8/2)
Vaccination is critically important to control the spread of vaccine-preventable disease. All EASD participants, including teen counselors, are required to provide an up-to-date vaccination record in accordance with Commonwealth of Massachusetts requirements. Religious exemptions are not accepted, however medically necessary vaccine delay will be considered on a case-by-case basis with a doctor’s note. COVID vaccination is not required

Each session must have a minimum of 10 children registered by 7/12/2024 to run. Maximum session size caps at 40 children.
Children will be costumed in 19th century garb for 8/1 & 8/2.
Enrollment is not complete until payment is received in full. Your space will not be held without payment. If a session does not reach minimum enrollment, registration can be transferred to another session with available space or a full refund can be issued. No other refunds will be issued. If a child is not able to attend for an extenuating reason, enrollment may be transferred to another program or participant. Refunds will be mailed to the address listed on file and may take up to three weeks to process.
Health & Medication, Transportation, and EASD Policies and Procedures will be sent to you upon completing this form.
Program Costs:
- If you have more than one child attending Early American Summer Days, please reflect this in your quantity when selecting your product.
- If your child(ren) attends all 4 days, the program only costs $199, per child.
- If your child(ren) attends 3 days, the program only costs $159 per child.
- If your child(ren) attends 2 days, the program only costs $119 per child.
- One single day costs $60.
