2024 Theme Contest

The Independence Day Committee invites all Claremont students in grades K-6 to enter their ideas for the 74th Annual 4th of July Celebration theme! The student with the winning entry will receive fireworks tickets, a certificate, a special place in the parade, and will lead the flag salute at the flag raising ceremony.
Contest Rules

1. Each theme submitted must be five words or less and have no more than 36 characters (shorter themes are encouraged for easier use in marketing).

2. Entrants are encouraged to relate their theme to Independence Day.

3. Entrants must be in grades K-6 and either reside in Claremont or attend a Claremont school.

4. Entries must be submitted by March 13, 2024, to the City of Claremont at the Alexander Hughes Community Center(1700 Danbury Rd) or online at www.claremont4th.org.

5. The winner will be chosen by the Independence Day Committee.

6. Any duplicate winners will be determined by random drawing.

7. The winner must be available to participate on July 4, 2024.

8. The winner will be contacted by phone on or after March 28, 2024.

Deadline for submission is March 13, 2024.
