Almost 50 years ago their ordination was considered an act of civil disobedience, but their actions changed the landscape of ordination in The Episcopal Church.
Join Candler's office of Pastoral Care and the Episcopal and Anglican Studies Program for a reception in the Candler Atrium followed by a screening of the documentary "The Philadelphia Eleven" in Cannon Chapel Sanctuary. After the film there will be a discussion with panelists at the forefront of women's ordination in The Episcopal Church.
