Note about service:

We are certified to sell and install Alarm.com. The service we provide is strictly self-monitoring. This means that we do not set you up service with a 3rd-party monitoring company. This is by design. Living in rural Idaho, 3rd-party monitoring would mean additional cost to you and most likely result in a non-response or delayed response from first responders. We offer a system that is 100% self monitored, with two options: Local or Remote monitoring. Local monitoring is strictly at your location and on your alarm panel. This does not require a monthly fee. Remote monitoring allows you to use the Alarm.com app to be notified of your system status; status of any sensors; viewing and responding to your video doorbell; and other features and options. There is never a contract. You purchase the installed equipment and can cancel your service at any time as well as use another service provider, if you choose. If you live in a location that does not have consistent cellular service, you may choose the Remote monitoring, but the system may experience "dropped calls" similar to a cell phone.
Equipment warranty and service:

Equipment warranty is provided during installation. If you have any questions or concerns about warranty information prior to installation, please contact sales@homesecurityidaho.com. Any equipment past the warranty date or that has been determined to be physically damaged, altered or misused will only be replaced at your expense. Service fees may be required after installation, but will be communicated prior to providing said service. With your permission, we have the ability to remotely access your system to perform troubleshooting or maintenance (Note that this can ONLY be done for a limited period and only with your express permission. Permission is granted via your Alarm.com app or email). The purpose of remote service is to limit on-site service calls. If on-site service is required, any service fee will be communicated prior to service and after service, an invoice will be sent with clear and transparent information.
