Obligations of Daily Performance Environment Partners (DPE)
- To implement and maintain a Performance Pathway program (PPP) that has the goal of developing badminton players to represent their state and Australia .
- To ensure selected players attend National Camps.
- To be affiliated with their State/Territory badminton organisation.
- To register all organisation participants as members with their state badminton organisation (including those not part of the Player Performance Pathway Progam)
- Have a current Child Safe Policy and Workplace Health and Safety Policy.
- To ensure all players, coaches and parents part of the organisation complete the Sport Integrity Australia requirements located here - https://www.badminton.org.au/integrity-resources/
- Have access to (a) suitable venue(s) to provide a high performance training environment offering a minimum of 2 sessions per week to Falcons (if any).
- Have at least one coach present at two (2) national camps yearly.
Attend quarterly virtual PPP meetings.
- Have relevant and up-to-date coaching qualifications and ensuring all coaches working with Falcons have a minimum BWF level 1 qualification. All other coaches are required to have a minimum of a BA Foundation Coaching Course qualification.
- New PPP’s must have a minimum of BA Foundation and will have 12 months to complete the BWF level 1 course.
- Ensure that all coaches are registered with BA.
- Provide regular input into the Individual Performance Plans (IPP) and provide reports as and when required.
Obligations of the Support Services Partners (SSP)
- Have a current Child Safe Policy and Workplace Health and Safety Policy
- Have any badminton programmes or coaching run by coaches with a minimum of a Badminton Australia Foundation Coaching qualification and any coaching of Falcons by coaches with a minimum of a BWF level 1 qualification.
- To ensure all badminton participants are registered as members with their state badminton organisation (including those not part of the Player Performance Pathway Progam)
- Have relevant support staff attend 1 BA Falcons camp per year focused on development specific to theservices provided to falcons.
- Attend virtual PPP meetings held during the year.
- Provide reports as and when required.
- Offer a minimum of 2 support services to Falcons athletes such as:
· Academic support (mandatory for any school partners)
· Scholarships
· Strength and Conditioning
· Physio Services
· Dietary Advice
· Sports Psychology
· Other as agreed
· Any services provided must be registered professionals in their relevant field.
Obligations of BA
- Recognition on the Badminton Australia website as an official PPP along with regular social media exposure.
- A banner to place in the organisation venue to acknowledge their PPP status.
- Complete annual PPP site visits.
- Provide information about AIS development opportunities.
- Cover the course registration costs for any agreed PPP coaches attending BWF Level coaching courses.
- Individual support services of benefit to the PPP where agreed by both parties.
- Provide the opportunity for PPP’s to advertise during major national events.
