Over the past three years, the BMBF-funded joint project "Local perspectives on transregional (dis-)entanglements" (acronym De:link//Re:link) has been dedicated to researching the Chinese infrastructure project "Belt and Road". From the perspective of local levels in Asia, Africa and Europe, significant findings on the "New Silk Road" initiative of the People's Republic of China have been compiled in various formats: Publications in book and essay form; exhibition contributions in museums; a documentary film, podcasts and more. Our researchers draw from a range of disciplines (including social sciences, linguistics, art and visual history, cultural studies, history, peace and conflict studies). As the first funding phase draws to a close, we would like to share the results and inferences of the collaborative research with a wider audience at a final conference.
We cordially invite you to attend this event and thank you for reserving the date in your calendar.
Details on the program with different media formats and international expertise will be provided soon. Register here as soon as possible to keep yourself informed. This registration portal will remain open until April 5.
