Host Site Application
  • Host Site Application

We are so excited you are interested in becoming a Be The Neighbor Site. In this form, you will find the initial requirements, expectations, and information needed to become a site.
  • Format: (000) 000-0000.
    • Information About Your Trip
    • This will be the theme that groups who come to your site will learn about and do service work around. Choose a justice issue that your congregation is already actively involved in working on. You can become an additional site that focuses on a justice issue we're already looking at, or you can help us to grow into a new area that we don't currently focus on. To share a new topic idea, select "other" and a text box will appear for you to enter your topic.
    • We host groups of all age make ups. Groups with high school and middle school require one adult for every six youth. Trip that include elementary aged students require one adult for each youth. What ages do you think would work best for a trip to your location? Select all that apply.
    • Each of our sites is designated as either a Reach Site or a Connect Site. Both types of trips have participants doing lots of hands on service. The differences are:

      • Connect Trips help to teach participants how the they can make a difference around justice issue in their own communities and how it impacts their neighbors. On these trips, groups generally do one all day hands on volunteer activity or one morning and one afternoon.
      • Reach Trips learn the same thing as connect, but also do more education to learn about how the work they're doing is a part of a systemic issue and how they can advocate to make changes. This is done through guest speakers, simulations, trips to museums or other historical sites, etc. Generally, groups will spend a portion of each day doing hands on service and another portion learning. Some days may have two hands on activities.
    • Which type of trip best fits with what you are hoping to offer?
