Completing this application is a step in the process of acquiring a puppy from Harrison's Lakeside Labradors, but it does not guarantee you will get a puppy from this or any future litter. While it's unlikely, the breeder reserves the right to refuse any placement at any time.
APPROVAL AND PAYMENT:
- Once we have a confirmed tie and we are expecting a litter, we will make an announcement on both social media as well as our website to begin creating a "list" of interested parties. At said time, we will NOT be accepting deposits yet.
- We will then create a private Facebook page specifically for that particular litter. And ask all of our interested parties to join the group as well as adding us (our personal Facebook pages). This becomes a step in determining proper homes for the puppies as well as creating a bond between us to continue through the life of the puppy and beyond.
- After the puppies have been whelped and we determine what colors and genders we have available, we will make announcements as well as sending out emails and/or private messages to allow everyone on our "list" the opportunity to continue with the purchase of one of our puppies.
- Once we have gone over all of the Questionnaires, we will choose who we feel fit best to move forward and notify all parties. Everyone receiving the notifications to move forward will have 24 hours to reply with confirmation, non-refundable deposit and a signed contract. Choosing of the puppies will be in order of deposit and will NOT be done until after they turn 6 weeks of age. This is when their personalities are more developed. The full balance of the puppy is due by the 6 week mark.
- All photo and video updates will be solely on the Facebook group page as it is easiest to share with the most people at one time. We are also happy to do private video calls if there is a specific puppy or puppies you'd like to see more of.
- After the puppies have turned 8 weeks and have received their 1st set of vaccinations and health certificates, we will have a Puppy Pick-up Day. We would love to have all of the families come together to meet each other, however, private meetings can be arranged as well.
GOING HOME: We cannot hold puppies for extended times; it is critical for their social development that the litter departs within a reasonable time frame. If you have a big vacation planned or have events that would conflict with a young puppy, please know puppies cannot be boarded in a kennel until they have received their full immunizations and their rabies vaccination which cannot be done until atleast 3 months of age.
CONTRACT: We have a contract and will not place a puppy without a signed contract. We believe it's the professional thing to do to memorialize our obligations to each other on paper so there are no questions later, and for that reason, it's a bit lengthy. If you have questions about specific terms, you need to contact us prior to picking up your puppy.
