Please note that if the applicant is accepted at Daystar Academy, they must understand the following:
1. As part of the enrollment agreement, applicant agrees to be taught by Daystar's Statement of Faith, and agree to Daystar's Communication Policy.
2. Any high school students expecting to graduate must meet the graduation requirements to receive a diploma. Students must prove that all transfer credits meet Daystar Academy's standards.
3. Applicant must remain a full time student in order to remain in compliance with their student visa.
4. Grade placement will be determined by meeting GPA requirements in the previous semester. Their grade placement will be determined according to school policy.
5. Applicant must abide by any Department of Homeland Security rules and obey the attendance, behavior, driving, guardianship, housing, and all other rules set forth by Daystar Academy. A student will be dismissed from school if these requirements are consistently challenged or falsified.
6. Any false information or failure to disclose academic, behavior, or emotional problems during the application/admissions process may result in dismissal from school with no recourse and no refunds.
7. While a student at Daystar Academy, applicant is considered a minor and must abide by all rules and laws of the State of Illinois, the United States of America and Daystar Academy, even if they are 18 or older.
8. Acceptance is for one year at a time and progress, effort, behavior, attitude and attendance will be evaluated yearly. Daystar Academy is not obligated to re-sign an I-20 to allow a student to continue.
9. International students are not permitted to drive any motorized vehicle unless living with their parents or designated guardian from their home country.
10. Applicant must remain with their placement agency while enrolled at Daystar Academy.
