    In this virtual course, we will explore all aspects of steam boilers for both utility and industrial purposes. We will discuss coal as the primary source of energy in South African boilers and focus on the different types of boiler designs. Modern boiler design requires specialised knowledege of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid flow, materials, firing systems, complex control systems and specific water chemistry. This Boiler Technology course brings all the required expertise together in a concise manner and in an interactive way allowing for maximum knowledge transfer.
