Kilo Properties are welcoming public comments with regards to a proposed development on land to the east of Harepath Road, Seaton.
The site is within the defined settlement boundary of Seaton and has been allocated for development for 25 years. The proposals represent a unique opportunity to deliver a new gateway site on the approach into Seaton through the creation of a mixed-use retail-led development. The first phase comprises two new retail units, to be occupied by M&S and The Range. It is intended that this would be followed by a smaller drive-thru and EV charging station. The scheme will dovetail with the existing employment site to the south, to form a mutually beneficial mixed-use employment generating retail destination in Seaton, attracting further shoppers into the town, leading to linked shopping trips into the town centre and seafront.
Prior to submission of the application, we would welcome your views on the proposals.
Following this consultation, the intention will be to submit a planning application to establish full consent for the proposed retail units, internal road network and landscaping together with the principle of the proposed drive-thru and EV charging station in the northern area of the site.
