2024 Main Street Zephyrhills Car Show Food Vender 05/18/24

    Event Schedule:
    - 3:00 PM: Vendors begin arriving and setting up
    - 4:30 PM: Vendors finish setting up
    - 5:00 PM: Market begins
    - 9:00 PM: Market ends, vendors begin packing up
    - 9:30 PM: All vendors finish packing up

    Products: Please note, to be fair to all vendors, we can only accept a limited number of vendors for each category at each market. However, exclusivity may not be guaranteed.

    Eligible Products:
    - Produce: fresh fruits, vegetables including conventional, hydroponic, organic and seasonal
    - Plants and flowers: flowers, decorative house plants, garden plants, herbs
    - Prepared and specialty food products: baked goods, fresh bread, seafood, barbecue, cheese, smoothies, pasta, ethnic food, eggs, dried soups, coffees, teas, nuts, jams, jellies, honey, sauces and condiments (must be produced in certified cottage food operations or certified kitchen operations)
    - Art and craft products: handmade and original items such as candles, soaps, balms, lotions, woodworking, leather items, paper goods, jewelry, appropriate original art pieces

    This application must be submitted along with payment. filling out the form does NOT complete registration. Each applicant will be reviewed by Main Street Zephyrhills and accepted for this market, unless otherwise notified. There are NO REFUNDS unless your application has been rejected by Main Street Zephyrhills.


    VENDOR CODE OF CONDUCT

    • Vendors, and those associated with a vendor, are expected to maintain a professional and courteous attitude
    towards other vendors, Main Street Zephyrhills and volunteers, City of Zephyrhills staff and
    emergency personnel.
    • Vendors are encouraged to bring concerns about to the management staff working the
    Market, not to patrons or other vendors.
    • Vendors must not publicly disparage other vendors or their products. This behavior may be grounds for
    immediate dismissal and termination from future events.
    • Vendors shall not use any language or action to insult or harass another vendor, shopper or City staff.
    • Vendors may not shout in a loud or aggressive manner to customers in an attempt to sell vendor’s wares.
    • Vendors are not allowed to stand in the walkways while providing samples to patrons, and cannot sell from the
    exterior sides of their space. All vendor activity must be conducted within their assigned booth space(s).
    • Vendors shall take the proper safety and health precautions to protect patrons, the Market, The City, the public
    and property of other vendors.
    • Vendors shall be responsible for all damages to persons or property that occur as a result of vendor’s
    negligence or misconduct. This includes any property owned by or provided by the City.
    • Vendors, and those associated with a vendor, agree to park in vendor parking or assigned handicapped spaces
    and agree to additional penalty fees.
    • Vendors agree to keep their booth space(s) attractive and clean during hours of operation. 
    • Vendors must clean up their spaces, remove trash and take boxes with them after the event closes.
    • Vendors agree to follow our attendance policy and understand failure to comply can result in their dismissal.
    • Illegal, unethical and/or abusive behavior will be grounds for immediate dismissal and/or termination.
    • Vendors must follow all codes of conduct.

    Parking: 

    Parking is available throughout downtown, excluding 5th Avenue Street parking.

    Product Regulations:

    Eligible Products:

    Produce: fresh fruits, vegetables including conventional, hydroponic, organic and seasonal plants and flowers: flowers, decorative house plants, garden plants, herbs
    Prepared and specialty food products:
    food truck or carts (very limited due to space), baked goods, fresh bread,seafood, barbecue, cheese, smoothies, pasta, ethnic food, eggs, dried soups, coffees, teas, nuts, jams, jellies, honey,sauces and condiments (must be produced in certified cottage food operations or certified kitchen operations)
    Art and craft products:
    handmade and original items such as candles, soaps, balms, lotions, woodworking, leatheritems, paper goods, jewelry, appropriate original art pieces

    Ineligible Products:

    • Informational and/or promotional items of a personal, cause related, or political nature
    • Screen printed apparel, accessories or other manufactured products
    • Franchise and direct sale business services, sales or items
    • Electronics and related accessories
    • Any resale or flea market type merchandise
    • Packaged, nationally distributed food and processed products
    • Commercial or mass-produced products
    • Alcoholic beverages


    Other Market Rules:

    • Certificate of liability insurance coverage in the amount of $1 million for non-cottage law food vendors. The City of Zephyrhills and Main Street Zephyrhills, (5335 8th St. Zephyrhills, FL. 33542) shall be listed as additional insured on coverage. Proof of insurance must be submitted with application
    • State issued Business License
    • Local Sales Tax Receipt
    • Accidents or injuries must be reported immediately to the Event Coordinator.
      Self-sufficient vendor setup - including but not limited to table(s), tent (limit (1) 10x10'), chairs, signage, payment processor, change. Space may not exceed an area of 10x10'
    • Generators are NOT permitted; Exceptions may be granted for food trucks only.
      Vendors are responsible for cleanup within their setup area. Trash, products, or any other setup materials must be removed no later than 2:30pm.
    • Vendors must communicate to the Event Coordinator no less than 5 business days prior to the event if they are no longer able to participate in the Market. No shows (cancellations within less than 5 business days) without extenuating circumstances will not be asked to participate in future markets or other Main Street events.
    • Vendors who wish to participate must submit an application electronically or in person.
    • Vendors must provide a complete list of products to be sold in the application.
      Main Street Zephyrhills reserves the right to reject certain products that do not meet the market product eligibility guidelines outlined in the previous section.
    • NO REFUNDS. If you are unable to make the event, please contact Main Street at least 2 days before event.
    • Vendors are responsible for their own sales tax.
    • Alcoholic beverages are NOT permitted.
    • Accepted vendors must sign the Main Street Market Vendor Agreement and the Hold Harmless.

     

    Hold Harmless:

    The undersigned agrees that they have read and understand the Rules and Regulations set forth for this event and agrees to comply as described. The undersigned also understands failure to comply will result in a direct order to vacate the event. Vendor shall defend, indemnify and hold harmless Main Street Zephyrhills and The City of Zephyrhills and all of their officers, agents, volunteers, and employees from and against all claims, liability, loss and expense, including reasonable costs, collection expenses, attorney’s fees, and court costs which may arise because of the negligence (whether active or passive), misconduct, or other fault, in whole or in part (whether joint, concurrent, or contributing), of Vendor, its officers, agents or employees in performance or non-performance of its obligations under the Agreement. Vendor recognizes the broad nature of this indemnification and hold harmless clause, as well as the provision of a legal defense to Main Street Zephyrhills and the City of Zephyrhills when necessary, and voluntarily makes this covenant and expressly acknowledges the receipt of such good and valuable consideration provided by Main Street Zephyrhills and the City of Zephyrhills in support of these indemnification, legal defense and hold harmless contractual obligations in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. This clause shall survive the termination of this Agreement. Compliance with any insurance requirements required elsewhere within this Agreement shall not relieve Vendor of its liability and obligation to defend, hold harmless and indemnify Main Street Zephyrhills and the City of Zephyrhills as set forth in this article of the Agreement.
