If you have been a JC previously please tell us a bit about how you intend to implement all aspects of the pledge this summer as an employee but also with the young people you are mentoring.
Please read the following and tell us what your plan of action would be to respect the participant you are mentoring while also respecting the honor code and the pledge? "Kayla is 14 years old, this is her first year in a High Rocks space and is very excited to attend New Beginnings Camp. While going on a walk to the waterfall with a fellow JC and some other campers, you hear someone in the distance and can also smell smoke. You walk over to further investigate and discover that Kayla has been smoking cigarettes in the woods with another camper. When confronted Kayla seems remorseful and fearful of her parents being notified." How would you navigate this moment with the participant and then with staff.
Please tell us about a challenging experience you have had a camp and how you worked through that, and what would you have changed about your part in said moment, or if you would change anything at all.
Please tell us about a positive experience that you have had during camp and how it has shaped you as a High Rocks participant.
