GENERAL INFORMATION

All young ladies of high character, educational achievements, and recognized community service between the ages of 16 and 23 are invited to be presented to society at the 87th Kosciuszko Foundation's Ball.

Each debutante must:
- be of Polish descent, not married or engaged;
- submit a debutante application form including a formal, full-length portrait in her presentation gown.
- select her own escort; relatives and friends may serve as escorts.
Attire for the Debutante:
- Floor-length all-white gown with a full skirt to allow for the deep bowing
- White gloves: long length if the gown has short sleeves/ wrist-length if the gown has long sleeves
- Shoes: plain, white fabric; low-heel shoes are advised
Hair, jewelry, and accessories should be simple and elegant. Make-up should be very natural.

The Ball dress code: Black Tie

A dress rehearsal will be held on April 20, the day of the Ball, at the Grand Ballroom of the Plaza.

The application fee of $10,000 includes the following:
- A table for ten guests
- A full-page advertisement in the Ball Journal
- A makeup, hairstyle, and photo session on the day of the Ball (optional)
