Candidates Must Be Able To:
Be willing to actively participate in setting the strategic plan and vision of SkillsUSA Texas High School.
Ensure financial accountability of the organization and support fundraising efforts.
Belief in and commitment to SkillsUSA Texas, Secondary's mission; knowledge of its policies and programs; and current awareness of Career and Technical Education developments.
Be an active teacher or administrator in good standing with a district in your region.
Two members shall represent each SkillsUSA Texas region, and no two members may be elected from the same district.
Be committed to advocating for your local membership and bring a collaborative spirit to the team.
Attend and participate in a committee as assigned by the Board Chairperson.
Attend quarterly meetings.
