Sogetsu School of Ikebana, Victorian Branch offers a Student Membership to students of the Sogetsu School of Ikebana who are currently studying Book 2, 3, Book 4 or Book 5.
Note 1: If you are studying Book 2 you must have a recomemndation by your teacher.
Note 2: If you are studying Book 5 you are also eligible for full membership; please check with your teacher.
Membership of the Sogetsu School of Ikebana, Victorian Branch is available to practitioners and students of the Sogetsu School of Ikebana.
Annual membership fee ($50) is due 31 July each year.
Membership includes
- three workshops presented by a Sogetsu teacher, branch member
- opportunity to particpate in the Annual Exhibition
- additional workshops may be attended at a cost of $5 per workshop
The purposes of the Sogetsu Victoria are to —
- promote the advancement of ikebana in the area (Victoria, Australia)
- contribute to the growth of society and
- contribute to the improvement of their members in techniques and expertise of ikebana
- promote the values of the Sogetsu School of Ikebana through teaching, workshops and exhibition
