Wakefield Athletic Boosters Scholarship Application

OUTSTANDING ATHLETE SCHOLARSHIP AWARD APPLICATION

Application Deadline - April 15, 2025
A total of two scholarships, each in the amount of $350, will be awarded at the Spring 2025 Athletic Banquet.

The two most deserving WCS student-athletes will be chosen based on their excellence in:
- Academics
- Leadership in athletics
- Sustained sportsmanship, and
- Contributions to the WCS student-athlete community as a whole.
The awards will assist the selected graduating student-athletes with financially supporting their continued education at an accredited trade school, 2-year or 4-year college in the fall of 2025.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Student must have completed at least one season at Wakefield Community Schools during their senior year.
2. Student must have represented Wakefield Community Schools in a positive manner and consistently demonstrated sportsmanship in all athletic contests.
3. Parent and/or guardian must be a CURRENT Wakefield Athletic Booster Sponsor.
4. Student must have a good disciplinary record with Wakefield Community Schools.
5. Student must request a letter of recommendation from a member of the Wakefield Community Schools coaching staff to be submitted with the student’s application.
6. Student must complete and submit the application on/before April 15, 2025.
