FARMERS’ MARKET GUIDELINES, RULES, AND FEES
1. Our mission is to provide a space offering our community sustainable access to clean products from local farmers, families, and food networks. Our goal is to have a variety of local vendors in this market; however, vendors must accept and acknowledge we cannot guarantee product exclusivity. It is each vendor’s responsibility to help publicize the market. By sharing and posting market events, we can reach a larger audience for all.
2. Local Farmers/Growers will be given registration priority. Vendors selling products and original crafts are welcome to participate. Limited space may be available for new businesses and/or Township recreational teams. Vendor registration will be subject to availability of market space. Farmers/Growers of produce and/or edible products should adhere to non-toxic methods in growing practices. Local farm/grow products must be free of synthetic pesticides/herbicides.
3. We reserve the right to decline a vendor’s registration. Vendors will be notified if they are not accepted. If a vendor's registration is declined, a full refund will be processed. The market is run by Just Organics Marketplace at its discretion.
4. Market will be held rain or shine. There are no rain dates. In the event of inclement weather that causes Just Organics to cancel a market date, the vendor registration fee will be transferred to another week of the 2024 market season if another date is available. A vendor’s registration fee will only be refunded for a date cancelled by us when there are no market dates remaining.
5. All vendor spaces will be outdoors. No access will be provided to the inside of the library. No electricity access will be provided to vendors.
6. Vendor spaces are approximately 10’ x 12’. Vendors may reserve more than one contiguous space, up to 3 spaces. Vendor space must NOT be left unattended.
7. Vendors are responsible for bringing their own tables/chairs/display set-ups. NO tables, chairs, or tents/canopies will be provided by Just Organics nor Atlantic County Library.
8. Vendors must fit all displays, tables, chairs, tents/canopies within their own assigned space(s).
