Thank you for your interest in becoming a Big Red Barn Farmers Market Vendor. Once you have completed the form below, your application will be reviewed by our farmers market committee. If accepted, we will schedule a 15-minute call to go over the details of your application, confirm all the applicable dates, and send you an invoice for the total booked markets. Payment must be made in full to book and confirm your market dates. Please note that submitting an application does not automatically confirm your acceptance as a vendor at the Big Red Barn Farmers Market, nor all the dates requested.
The Big Red Barn Farmers Market is a program of the Maplewood Area Historical Society at the Bruentrup Heritage Farm on Sundays 9 AM - 1 PM, June - September. The mission of the Big Red Barn Farmers Market is to build a community of local producers and consumers who can learn from each other while celebrating the rich history of local agriculture. Please select all market dates for which you are applying. *Each market will run from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM. MAHS staff will be onsite beginning at 8:00 AM for vendor setup. Additional time needed before 8:00 AM must be arranged and confirmed at least 48 hours in advance. We will do everything possible to accommodate early setup, but given MAHS staffing limitations, set up before 8:00 AM can't be guaranteed. All vendors must be set up at least ten minutes before opening. All dates are subject to availability. Weekly vendors' fees are $30 per market, $50 per market for food trucks, $440 for a seasonal vendor ($100 in savings), and $750 for a food truck seasonal vendor ($150 in savings) (unlimited markets per season).*

VENDOR FEE PER BOOTH: $30 per market, $50 per market for food trucks, unlimited space; OR full season vendor (unlimited markets per season) $440 (standard) $750 (food trucks); electricity (if needed) $10 per market (electricity is limited and cannot be guaranteed). 6 and 8-foot tables and chairs are available on-site for your use. However, the vendor will be responsible for retrieving and returning any tables and chairs used for the market. We strongly encourage the use of a canopy/tent. Please describe the set-up of your booth, tent, or food truck.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

A lot of staff time goes into the marketing of each weeks market. In that marketing, we are advertising a certain experience by describing the booked vendors and products that will be available to guests every week. By having last minute cancellations, we are not able to meet the guests expectations which leads to disappointment and less return rates of vistors from week to week. We understand that emergencies happen, but we are not able to focus our effors on driving traffic to both the market and to our vendors if we are having to shift our focus to filling cancelled spots. Thank you for your understanding.
I understand that if I need to cancel with less than a 15-day notice, I will only be entitled to a refund if I find an applicable vendor to replace myself. If MAHS Museum needs to cancel a market, all vendors will receive a full refund.*
