  • DONATION:  For a donation of $412.50, The Rotary Foundation of Washington DC through its Trees for the Capital Committee, in partnership with the National Park Service, will plant a tree in the DMV to honor a loved one or friend that you designate. You will receive a certificate recognizing your gift with the geo-coordinates of the tree's location.

  • The certificate will be mailed within 30 days of the tree planting ceremony.

  • TREE PLANTING

  • The donor, and as appropriate the honoree, will be invited to the tree planting ceremony, and receive a link to the geo-coordinates of the tree planted in the honoree's name. Please note that tree planting ceremonies with the National Park Service occur semi-annually. Recognition of the gift and the trees GPS coordinates will also be posted on the website of the Rotary Foundation of Washington, DC once the tree has been planted by the National Park Service and honored at one of our semi-annual tree planting ceremonies.
