Building Use Policy
1) Conquerors Church functions and activities have priority over other renters. Buillding Use applications are considered in the order received.
2) In the case of ongoing use, such as weekly or monthly rental/leasse of facilities, Conquerors Church reserves the right to preempt use of the facilities. In such cases at least two weeks’ advance notice will be sent to the contact person for the group.
3) Freestanding candles, devices that might overload electrical circuits, or anything else that might be deemed a fire hazard are strictly prohibited.
4) No alcoholic beverages or controlled substances are allowed in the building or in the parking lot or surrounding land. Smoking is not allowed in any part of the building or immediately outside our facility.
5) Nothing may be attached to walls, sanctuary chairs, ceilings, or floors that might damage them. All decorations must be removed.
6) Use participants are required to remain in areas specified in the agreement, and are responsible for keeping group participants confined to those areas.
7) Children may be present only in the direct care of responsible adults. They must never be left unattended on church premises at any time.
8) At the conclusion of each event, upon leaving the building, you must make certain that:
- All lights and appliances are off.
- All doors are locked.
- Garbage and trash is disposed of properly in dumpster in the parking lot
- The room is returned to its standardized use for function – including the arrangement of tables and chairs.
- The floor is swept/vaccumed
If the kitchen is used:
- Kitchen use for caterers only
- All eating and preparation surfaces are washed clean.
- All dishes or other kitchen items are washed, dried, and put away.
- No food items are left on the premises or in the refrigerator or freezer.
- CATERERS ONLY are permitted Kitchen use
9) For non-banquet useage, absolutely no food or drinks, snacks, gum, candy etc., are allowed in the main sanctuary or other undesignated areas.
10) Use signers shall be responsible for any security protection needed. In addition, the user shall pay all taxes, fees, or other government charges resulting for the use of the space, Conquerors Church in no way responsible.
11) Users and guests shall at all times conduct themselves in a manner keeping with the character of a house of worship building, and shall obey all laws, regulations and ordinances affecting the Church property or the use of space.
12) Users and guests of property of Conquerors Church are reminded of the Christian policy that all persons are welcome without regard to age, race, sex, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, religion or creed.
13) All events will be slated to end no later than 10:00 p.m., unless given special permission by Conquerors Church Rental Coordinator.
14) All weddings must have a wedding planner/coordinator and must meet with Conquerors Church Rental Coordinator three weeks before the wedding rehearsal and wedding ceremony for usage review. All wedding rehearsals must end no later than 9:00 p.m.
15) All choirs, bands and/or group rehearsals are allowed use of instruments at Conquerors Church. No instruments are to be disconnected with out prior approval from Conquerors Church Rental Coordinator. A pre-event/rehearsal and post-event/rehearsal inspection will be performed by Conquerors Church representative.
16) Conquerors Church assumes no responsibility for the use of the building and facilities by the tenant and has no liability to the user for such use, and further the user agrees to indemnify and hold Conquerors Church & Ministries Inc. harmless from all third party claims, liability or damages arising out of such.
17) Conquerors Church reserves the right to cancel or change this agreement at any time due to ministry activities and needs.
