Switchboard
Poorly maintained switchboards are the number 1 reason for house fires happen, as a result switchboard safety is constantly evolving, so it's important that we leave your switchboard safe and complient.
The 3 major things we look for in a switchboard are:
1: Is there room to fit an extra safety switch for the heat pump?
2: Is the main switch 'current limiting'? This is mandatory and will be audited by an independant safety inspector after the works are complete.
3: Is the switchobard complient and safe? You may have the older fuse style in your switchboard or perhaps exposed wiring, both are very unsafe and will need to be upgraded before the official works can begin.
The photos help us determine what components we need for the install, and allow us to arrange an independant inspector in advance, which means you can have your heat pump operating sooner.
