Activity Mentors - People experienced in coaching, steering, OC1 or surf ski to work with our coaches and/or paddlers one on one, by crews/divisions, or at clinics.
Equipment repair and maintenance - Work with the Equipment Committee to assist with sanding, refinishing, woodworking, sanitizing, seat pads, or other as needed.
Site & Halau Maintenance - Cleanup, organizing, raking, mowing and keeping our halau and paddling site safe, organized and inviting for our members and guests.
Riggers and Rigging Mentors - Rig and lead rigging teams prior to and throughout the season.
Bookkeeping, Accounting help
Assistance with overseeing Legal Documents
Parent volunteers to assist with admin tasks as Team Parent
Assistant coaches in the youth division
Assist with events such as George Perry Keiki Race and Kailua Regatta Food Booth and Blue & Gold event.
PR & Recruitment - Help to recruit new KCC adults (colleges, gyms) and Keiki (schools)
Social committee for KCC Events - Help organize events such as Club Blessing, Kailua Regatta and other get togethers, rallies and celebrations.
Trailer assist - Offer your truck and time to tow canoes to regattas and/or long-distance events.
Boat Holders - Ensure a fair, safe and legal start for our crews at the regattas.
Fund Raising - Solicit community sponsors and supporters
Video Tech - Video the various crews at practices and regattas and share with coaches.
Culture and Community Service - Assist in Community Service projects including a liaison to the Neighborhood Board, Beach/Ocean and Environmental groups. Assist with scattering of ashes for members of the community. Legislative advocacy for OHCRA (our governing canoe association)
OHCRA Volunteer - Water & land officials (requires racing rules knowledge)
