Access
Access to The Hive is through a field. You will need to park in the layby near by to meet the group and then walk to the field. Once registered we will send you details of where to park. Please arrive at this location on time as the group will meet there and take the short walk to The Hive together.
There is no toilet at the site. The Cowshed cafe is near by although we have not requested use of their facilities, you may be able to use them if purchasing refreshments.
Unfortunately, the site is not suitable for pushchair or wheelchair use access.
Health & Safety:
Please only register to take part if you feel physically able to do so.
Insight Community Project do not accept responsibility for anyone becoming injured or unwell during the event.
A risk assessment has been carried out and will be followed throughout the session. If the session leader has concerns about your safety to participate, he will disucss this with you and may withdraw your permission to take part.
For your own safety - Do not take part if you have an allergy to bee stings. The site is in a rural location and we do not keep adrenalin injections on site.
All under 18's must have guardian consent to take part.
Mixed sessions are not suitable for under 8's - please enquire about childrens sessions if looking for a space for under 8s. Under 12's must be accompanied by an adult throughout the session.
Once at The Hive, please follow the instructions of the group leader at all times so that everyone can enjoy the project safely. Please pay attention to safety signs at all times.
