There may be instances where we request to review your documentation, and you must be prepared to provide written records for all items on your return if subject to an audit by either the IRS or state tax authority. We can offer guidance on acceptable evidence.

"I attest to the authenticity and precision of the expenses and income outlined above, confirming that I, either as the taxpayer or spouse, have personally submitted them to the tax preparer. I acknowledge my responsibility to furnish comprehensive, accurate, and truthful information to the tax preparer, and I absolve the tax preparer of any liability for inaccuracies, including but not limited to audits resulting from the provided information."
Before affixing your signature, thoroughly review the return to verify the accuracy of the information. Fees must be settled before the delivery or filing of your tax return. Should you terminate this engagement before completion, you agree to remit a fee for the work already performed. A retainer is mandatory for the preparation of overdue returns.
It is advisable to retain a copy of your tax return and any associated tax documents. A fee may be imposed if you request a copy in the future.
