The Window Coverings Association of America (WCAA), in conjunction with Stephen Robson, is pleased to announce the Jill Robson Memorial Scholarship. This award is to honor the memory of Jill Robson and to promote education in the Window Coverings Industry for those already in the industry as well as those new to window coverings.
Mission Statement
The mission of the scholarship fund is to encourage and equip business owners in the Window Coverings Industry by supporting their education and providing foundational learning opportunities to promote professionalism in the industry.

About Jill Robson
Jill Robson was a light in the Window Coverings Industry. As a drapery workroom, educator and connector – she always entered a room with a smile and a quiet word of encouragement. Jill was a voice of reason and loved to share ideas. We honor her, her memory and her contribution to the Window Coverings Industry with this scholarship.
CRITERIA: To apply for and receive the Scholarship the Applicant must:
1. Be a National WCAA Member.
2. Consistently adhere to the Code of Ethics.
3. Actively seek out additional education.
4. Have shared techniques, resources or knowledge with other WCAA Members.
5. Submit a fully completed application with 1-2 Letters of Recommendation.
TERMS: There will be four $750 scholarships awarded for 2024. The award may be used for continuing education in the Window Coverings Industry. Payments will be distributed directly to the institution, program or educator. Travel and expenses will be reimbursed directly to the Member with submitted receipts. The selected Member will be provided a W-9 to complete prior to the award being distributed.
SELECTION PROCESS: Application materials shall be reviewed by the Jill Robson Memorial Scholarship Committee comprised of WCAA Board Members and WCAA Staff. Selection criteria will be based on information submitted in the application, essay review, recommendation letters and reference check.
DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION: June 1, 2024
