Help us commemorate Fielding’s 50th Anniversary! For 50 years, Fielding has been on the cutting edge of the social sciences, and our community members continue to move collective and individual scholarship and practice forward. While that showcases the Fielding experience, the stories of our community are at the heart of who we are.
During our Call Across the Globe: 50 Years of Stories celebration on March 11, we are sharing the narratives of our students, alums, faculty, staff, Trustees, donors, faculty emeriti, friends, family, and more! We want to hear from you.
You’ve likely heard the Fielding origin story – that it all began somewhere in California in the 1970s during a hot tub conversation. There is also a Fielding lore about the late Dr. Don Bushnell and the fish. What is your own unbelievable Fielding story? (Ideas could include themes of love, friendship, humor, paradoxes, transformation – the possibilities are endless!) We want to know what Fielding means to you in your scholarly and life journeys.
Submit a brief overview of your story and at least one photo.
The contest ends on Friday, March 1 at 11:59 p.m. PT/2:59 a.m. ET. Three winners will be selected to present their stories at the Call Across the Globe event on March 11 at 8 a.m. PT/11 a.m. ET. You may use this form, email us at communications@fielding.edu, or submit your stories and photos on one of our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or X/Twitter).
