Thank you for your interest! We are looking for Camp Ideal counselors who will help create and operate an educational, creative, and safe summer for campers from June 9-August 3. All employment includes full participation in staff orientation as well as end-of-camp clean up and evaluation. Email Camp Director Kim Cossman at camp@thejewishfed.org with any questions.
Direct Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Campers aged 3-13 safety and well being
- Create weekly activities for Campers including Jewish/Israeli/Value driven concepts
- Representative of the Jewish Federation at all times during employment
- Work cooperatively as part of the Camp Ideal team
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children
- First Aid/CPR trained (Can do training during Staff week)
- Strong organizational skills and work ethic
- A team player
- Creative ideas, and knowledge in how to implement them
- Available for a full day position, 7:30-5:30 PM
