  • Counselor in Training (CIT) Program

    The Counselor in Training (CIT) program is a leadership opportunity for campers who are ready to be a leader at camp. CITs work alongside counselors and Naturalists to help lead activities, support younger campers, and be positive role models.

    As a CIT, you will:

    • Assist with games, lessons, and daily camp activities
    • Help create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all campers
    • Build leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
    • Learn how to guide groups and handle challenges in a supportive way

     

     Culinary Intern Program-Only offered during Overnight Camps

    The Culinary Intern program is perfect for campers who are interested in cooking, food preparation, and helping behind the scenes to keep camp running smoothly.

    As a Culinary Intern, you will:

    • Help Camp Chef prepare meals and snacks for campers
    • Learn basic kitchen safety and food handling skills
    • Assist with meal setup, serving, and cleanup
    • Support the camp team during overnight and special programs

    This role builds responsibility, teamwork, and real-life skills while giving you a unique leadership experience at camp.

  •  Both programs are designed to help you grow as a leader, gain new skills, and play an important role in making camp a positive experience for everyone.

    If you are rewarded this postion then all Counselors in Training and Culinary Interns are rewarded 20% off the total price of camp weeks. If accepted, You will be sent an email with a Discount Code to use when registering for your camp weeks. 

  • Participants in the program receive increased independence and responsibility throughout the camp day, opportunities to take on leadership-focused roles, and mentorship from experienced staff. Incentives if camper is in good standing include earning documented CIT hours, receiving a Certificate of Completion, and the ability to list camp staff as a reference for future jobs, school applications. Participants may also gain priority consideration for future leadership roles or paid positions (must be 18 yr+) at camp, along with valuable real-world experience that supports resumes, college applications, and continued involvement in outdoor and youth programs.
