Qualifications:
1. Title Examination: 3 or more years experience as licensed agent working for a member company; 20 CE hours in the past 5 years; Submit 25 test questions related to title matters, and 10 test questions related to licensing and regulatory matters. (90% of questions submitted must be acceptable by NMLTA for test use)

2. Escrow Settlement: 3 or more years experience as licensed agent working for a member company; 20 CE hours in the past 5 years; Submit 25 test questions related to escrow settlement matters, and 10 test questions related to licensing and regulatory matters. (90% of questions submitted must be acceptable by NMLTA for test use)

Upon our receipt of the acceptable number of questions, as determined by our review panel, the Applicant will receive a Charter Membership as a Certified Professional at no charge for the initial 3-year term. Subsequent membership renewals will be subject to the applicable fees and rules at the time.
Question Format;
The test questions should be either true/false or multiple choice with 3 or 4 options. Please circle or otherwise indicate the correct answer to your question. Questions should relate to topics and situations that a licensed agent should know by experience, through day-to-day performance of duties. Be sure to include the minimum number of questions in each category required for the type of certification you wish to obtain.

If you have an idea for something important you've learned in your field through experience, but can't quite formulate a question, send in the idea and if we can come up with a question to cover the concept, you can still receive credit for it.
