    Use this Section to troubleshoot the Non-Working Units
  • This unit may be in "Night Mode" -
    If the unit is responding to these touches - do the 10x Tap, and make sure "Nightmode" is set to "Off"
    Also check the Timezone is correct.
    Reboot the Unit and it should work.

  • This Unit needs a repair - It can be fixed.
    You can remove and send in for repair, or if you are comfortable to try the step below:


    - Take off Base and check for a Battery Upgrade Chip:

    - If there is one; remove it and leave the 4-wires disconnected.
    Try Battery to see if this has fixed the problem.

    - If there is no Upgrade Chip Present - you can send the unit in.

    (or request a new connector from Head Office to repair it yourself if you are comfortable.)

     

  • This unit needs to be Re-Firmwared.
    Use your laptop and USB Cable to re-firmware the appropriate Firmware to the unit.
    You will have to reinstall the APK (via USB/SD Card/Bluetooth/Download)
    And Re-Add the Unit to the group.

  • This Unit has damage to the motherboard and will need to be repaired.
    Remove from Site.
    Tag unit: "DB" with the DATE and LOCATION it was taken.

    i.e. DB - 22-JAN-2025 - BP #2167
