GENERAL PRICING INFO:

Birchwood Pets is based in Westland, MI and services clients up to a 30 mile radius. An additional fee will be added for cilents outside of that radius. We generally advise requesting services 1-2 weeks in advance for best availability, but we strive to accomadate last minute requests as often as possible. Daycare is $45/day with an additional $10 fee for dogs under 14 months. Boarding is $55/night with an additional $10 fee for animals under 14 months. Drop-Ins are $25/30 minutes and $45/60 minutes. Households with more than 1 dog will be charged per additional dog requiring care. Households with more than 2 cats will be charged at a 50% rate per additional cat. Holiday bookings will be priced an additional $10/day. 2025 Holiday Rates apply to: 1/1, 5/24-5/26, 7/4-7/6, 8/30-9/1, 10/31, 11/27-30, 12/24-12/25 and 12/31-1/1/2026 Medication administration and basic grooming is available for purchase a la carte.

GRATUITY:

While tipping is not mandatory, it is greatly appreciated and helps us keep things running! 20% is customary in the service industry, but tips can usually range from 10-30%, it is at your discretion.

NEW CLIENTS:

Upon confirmation of booking, new clients will be sent our New Client Pet Info form, our Terms and Policies agreement, and our Medical Release Waiver along with their dated invoice. Questions regarding cancellations, late arrivals, emergencies, and more are detailed in these forms but if you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
