Call for Poster Judges

David A. Paulus, M.D. Annual Poster Symposium

In conjunction with the FMA 2024 Annual Meeting (August 2-4)

Deadline to apply: Sunday, June 30, 2024. 

The FMA is issuing a CALL FOR JUDGES for the 2024 David A. Paulus, M.D Poster Symposium. We need volunteer physicians who have an interest in medical research and clinical case presentation.

 

We are assembling two teams of judges:

• First team (ADVANCE JUDGING) will evaluate the posters based on criteria relating to lay-out, content and significance (virtual).
  
  
• Second team (ON-SITE JUDGING) will evaluate the poster based on criteria relating to the skills of the presenter and his/her ability to describe the project/case and answer questions (in-person.)

Scheduling Requirements:

• ADVANCE JUDGING (virtual): Judges must be able to complete their evaluation of assigned posters in advance of the in-person event, anticipated review dates: July 8-15. Instructional tutorials highlighting the process are scheduled for June 20 at 12pm and June 27 at 5:30pm ET. 
  
  
• ON-SITE JUDGING: Judges must be able to do a brief check-in/training about the digital judging system using iPads and complete the formal judging session on Saturday, Aug 3 from 1-4:00 p.m. Judges may check in and receive brief instructions between approximately 9 and 10:30am or 11:30am and 12:45pm ET.
