Be careful and accurate, by referencing the images below, as we do not want to send you a vest that is oversized. This may cause sensitivity for the pup.
While the pup is in a natural standing position, measure length from between shoulder blades (NOT neck) to base of tail (NOT end of tail). See line "A" in the images below.
The second image shows more clearly where the shoulder blades are, to help ensure that you're not including the pup's neck in your measurement. The vest is going to lay on the pup's shoulders. If the pup is standing up in a natural position, their shoulder blade is going to be almost in line with their elbow. This is shown with line "B", as an additional guide for where to begin your measurement. You can see that if you instead begin somewhere on the dog's neck, this can add several inches and make your final measurement quite long.
Type the length (in inches) in the box below.
An available vest of the closest measurement will be assigned to your pup!
Pups do not need a larger vest size until the vest is falling more than a few inches short of the pup's waistline. The straps that are clipped under the pup's belly and across chest can adjust widely as the pup grows.
Our smallest vests (12"-13") are included in all outgoing puppy kits when Raisers receive a new pup. Available vest stock varies widely each month based on pending returns. A vest of the closest length possible to your order request will be provided, if the exact size requested is not readily available.
Co-Raisers share one vest for each pup.
