  • Lifetime Veterans Beach Permit Application

  • The Mattituck Park District welcomes Mattituck and Laurel veterans, service members (or suriving spuses) to use the parks and recreational facilities operated by the Mattituck Park District. For a description of these facilities, please visit mattituckparks.gov .


    The veteran (as well as those in the vehicle with the current MPD Beach Permit) is entitled to free use of facilities operated by these offices, for which there is normally a charge.


    The MPD Beach Permit issued to veterans is not valid for waiver of fees for services operated by an outside concessionaire.


    Qualifications and requirements are described within the application.


    Annually, the MPD will contact the veteran to confirm appropriate eligibility.

    To ensure that your application can be approved for processing please be sure that all of the items below are submitted to the office either by mail (Mattituck Park District  PO Box 1413  Mattituck, NY 1195), in person, or scans via email (clerk@mattituckparks.gov) after completing this application.

    • Copy of your current Driver License, Non-Driver Identification Card.
    • If ID is not from Mattituck or Laurel, please also provide a copy of your Southold Town tax bill.
    • Copy of proper certification such as a DoD CAC or a DD-214 from the VA.
