• If this request is for an injured stray cat, please call the shelter at our soonest open hours.

• Please allow 48 hours for a response from our intake team

• Each intake is evaluated on a case-by-case basis by our Cat Health&Welfare Comittee

• If this is an urgent surrender request, we suggest referring to other shelter facilities, in case we are unable to provide aid

Additional comments:
The Parma Animal Shelter is a non-profit organization, 100% staffed by volunteers. We are a "no-time limit" shelter who dedicates ourselves to taking excellent care of the animals we take in and finding them loving homes.

However, we are a small organization with finite resources and cannot take every cat requested of us. Therefore, we must evaluate our capability of providing aid and cannot guarantee we will be able to take in the reqested cat(s).

Each cat intake request is evaluated on a case-by-case basis by our Health&Welfare Comittee. Animals with vet records: $50 intake fee required. Animals without vet records $100 intake fee required.
