Pricing
Being a one-on-one groomer, my services are more expensive than other salons. My salon is cage-free, meaning your dog will not be in a crate for any period of time. In fact, I have a "dog couch" in my salon for them to sit back and relax, as well as playing calming music to soothe them.
Dogs with anxiety or dogs that are easily distracted will benefit from a one-on-one environment. Your dog will have my full, undivided attention for the duration of their appointment. Most dogs are in and out in less than 2 hours based on size, behavior & coat condition.
Please understand that pricing is subject to change. Additional fees and charges may be added to the price of your groom based on, but not limited to, the following conditions: late cancellations, pick ups, missed appointments, size, behavior, coat conditions, etc. Payment for services is required at pick up via; cash, card(3% convenience fee), check or venmo.
Each grooming session is executed with a lot of love, patience & care. I ensure every dog leaves looking and smelling their best. By booking with me, I promise your dog will be in great hands.
Matting & Health Problems
If your dog is matted, you agree to let me use my expertise to take the necessary steps to ensure your dog's safety is a priority. If any skin issues arise after removing the matting, I will not be held responsible.
Mats cut off the air flow in your dog's skin and can trap moisture, which can cause irritation and sores on your dog. Even mild matting can be painful, but in severe cases matting can cut off circulation to your dog's skin and cause hematomas. Here at Alison's Pet Grooming, I strongly believe in "Humanity Over Vanity." Should your dog come to me with mats I will do what is in the best interest of the dog and shave them down. By booking an appointment with me you are agreeing that as your groomer, Alison is not liable for cuts, irritation, bruising, and other such injuries caused by matting, nor is she liable for old injuries that may have been hidden by the matted hair.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Although I understand things happen, I ask that appointments are kept & made on time. If you are unable to make it to your appointment, please contact me 48 hours before to avoid a cancellation fee.
If you are late for your appointment, I offer a 10 minute grace period. If you show up 10 or more minutes late, this may result in rescheduling and/or a late fee. This is because most of my appointments are scheduled back-to-back. You being late may put me behind for the rest of the day, which is not fair to my other clients who show up on time.
If you do not show up at all, you will be recorded as a no-show & I will have to charge you 50% of the service booked. These fees will need to be paid before your next appointment.
Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes early for your appointment, as I cannot guarantee that I will be ready for you. If you arrive to pick your dog up before I contact you, please DO NOT knock on the door, or walk in. Please wait for me to contact you when your dog is ready.
Please be sure to have your dog go potty before entering the salon. You are welcome to walk them around in the front or back yard behind the fence, but please pick up their poop if they go. Poop bags are provided right inside the salon and there is a dumpster behind the fence by the salon entrance.
I communicate via text or email only. This is because I am most likely working with a dog and I want them to have my full, undivided attention.
