As a Crew Leader, you will play a pivotal role in the company, working closely with the owners to manage and lead our provisions at festivals and private events. Your primary focus will be on customer satisfaction and maintaining operational excellence. We are looking for someone with a background in hospitality and management, capable of leading by example and driving our team to achieve excellence in every aspect of our business.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of our street food and drink businesses at events, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.
- Work alongside the management to coordinate event logistics, set up, and breakdown.
- Train and support team members to deliver outstanding customer experiences and uphold our company's values and standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Ensure food quality is consistently high, maintaining our reputation for outstanding flavors and innovative offerings.
- Be hands-on in the kitchen/bar environments to provide a premium service to our clients and customers.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues with tact and professionalism.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement improvements in processes and procedures.
- Ensure food safety and stock level records are kept up to date.
- Forecasting and purchasing of stock.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a leadership or management capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive and customer-focused attitude.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of leading, motivating, and training team members effectively.
- A passion for street food, culinary creativity, and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Flexibility to work during the seasonal events, including weekends and evenings.
- Ability to adapt to remote working during quieter periods, utilizing technology to stay connected with the team and business operations.
- Must be over 18 and hold a valid full U.K driving licence.
- Willing to stay overnight at event sites either camping or hotels where available (overnight allowance paid for camping)
