2025 JRA Summer Camp Registration Form

Students learning about the James River James River Association Lynchburg Outdoor camp is located at the Upper James River Center located at Riveredge Park in Amherst County - directly across the river from Historic Downtown Lynchburg!

Let your child embark on an unforgettable journey this summer with our on-the-water adventures! From kayaking and canoeing to paddleboarding, our campers will dive into hands-on experiences that build confidence and cultivate a deeper connection to nature.

Imagine your child mastering paddling techniques, learning water safety, and exploring the James River’s rich history and ecosystem—all while forging friendships that will last a lifetime. Our expert instructors create a supportive environment where campers can try new activities, embrace challenges, and develop lifelong skills.

Maximum capacity is 25 campers/week. Camp runs from 9am - 4pm, Monday - Friday. Additional extended care is offered for parents who need to drop their students off at 8 am and/or pick up at 5pm

Our 5 day camp is $300 ($50 additional for extended care) due at the time of registering. Please use one form per child registered.

The fee for our and the five-day summer camp is $300 per week. There is an extended care fee of $50 a week for 8 a.m. drop off /5 p.m. pickup.
